Homework 9/27 A, 9/30 B, C, & D, 10/1 E

Drafts of the Columbus essay were due for these blocks.  Final versions of the essays are due on 10/17 for Blocks A, B, & C, and 10/18 for Blocks D & E.

In class students did a CSI style investigation of the mystery of the Roanoke colony.  They had to analyze clues to develop their own hypothesis. 

For homework - Students need to write 10 journal/diary entries as though they were a colonist in Roanoke.  You can use the clues from class today to help you develop these entries.

Homework: 10/17 A, B, C 10/18 D, E

Today in class we learned about the history of the French and Indian War.  This was a follow up to the prior lesson which included primary source readings from the same time period. Students who missed the class can view the PowerPoint below. French and Indian War Powerpoint Students did not have homework today as their Columbus essay was due in class.
